Overdraft Coverage

Be Prepared for Life's Distractions

Hoosier Hills Credit Union Has You Covered

Overdraft Protection is automatically included with your Checking Account. Overdraft Protection may help protect your account from being overdrawn by automatically transferring funds to your checking account from another Hoosier Hills Credit Union account or line of credit. There is no transfer fee for most accounts. Overdraft Protection linked through Money Market accounts and lines of credit are subject to existing fees and interest.1

Overdraft Privilege is an optional service which allows you to overdraw your account in order to pay a transaction. Even if you have Overdraft Protection, Overdraft Privilege is available as secondary coverage if the other protection sources are exhausted. If you overdraw your account with Overdraft Privilege, transactions will be paid, up to your approved limit, for $33 each. There is no fee for having Overdraft Privilege unless you use it.

Overdraft Privilege Standard Coverage covers overdrafts on checks, ACH and recurring debit transactions. You may choose to opt for Overdraft Privilege Extended Coverage which covers everyday debit and ATM transactions in addition to the Standard Coverage items.
